Technology for Prostheses - Feel Good Fridays

I am a NPR junkie. I usually listen to various programs as I travel in the car. Yesterday I was listening to Fresh Air, with Terri Gross. She was interviewing Hugh Herr; a scientist who had both of his legs amputated after a catastrophic mountain climbing accident.

Herr is the former director of the Biomechatronics Group at the MIT Media Lab, his group specialized in creating prosthetic devices.

You can listen to the full show here or read the transcript here.

Enjoy and Happy Friday!
